Handyman – Processes

We understand that home repair issues arise around the house that you just don’t have the time or expertise to handle on your own. Therefore, Four Brothers fields a handyman service through which our craftsmen can fix virtually any problem you might encounter. Depending on the nature of the work, projects handled by this division are billed either on a time and materials basis, or as a fixed price contract. Our team members are courteous, competent, and committed to providing personal attention and quality craftsmanship to all of our clients.

Step 1: Initial Conversation

Via telephone or email correspondence you inform us about your handyman needs. Important details to consider include project objectives, measurements, timeframe, materials involved, and location. Digital photographs and sketches of the work area are always helpful, and assist us in providing an accurate estimate.

Step 2. Visit and Written Estimate

Based on either the information provided in the initial conversation, or after a visit by one of the Four Brothers team, we present you with a Written Estimate. This estimate is based on projected carpenter hours and cost of materials. We also forward our standard Handyman Contract for your review. (This contract is executed prior to start of work.) If you are satisfied with our estimate, we establish a time to come complete your project.

Step 3: Project Completion

At the agreed upon time one of the Four Brothers team will come to your home and complete your handyman project. While we work we place particular emphasis on protecting your home by installing plastic Zip Walls, floor/furniture protection, and an air purifying system where necessary. When the project is finished, we clean up thoroughly, including dusting, sweeping, and mopping.

COST: Based on carpenter hours and material costs

Step 4: Evaluation

Regardless of how big or small the project, we mail you an Evaluation Document Evaluation Document so you can grade our service from start to finish. Your candid input is vital and controls the future direction of our company.
